Big Sky Dog Training is pleased to offer a variety of obedience classes for dogs of all ages and their families. From in-home private instruction to group classes, all of our obedience classes focus on training dogs at their level of ability and maturity.

  • Loose leash Walking - Walking on loose leash without attention on the owner
  • Automatic Sit - Dog will automatically sit during heeling when the owner stops moving.
  • Distraction, Distance and Boundary Exercises
  • Release command.
  • Quiet Exercises & Time outs.

Learning how to communicate with your dog allows you to correctly socialize him, keep him from being destructive and fix those annoying habits.   • Water Bowl
  • Clean up materials, such as paper towels and a deodorizing cleaner
  • 6' and 20' flat leash
  • Collar with ID tag
  • Any training collar that you use, although choke chains will not be used in training class
