Big Sky Dog Training Supply List

Please have the following with you and your dog for use in training sessions. (For your convenience, Big Sky Dog Training makes all supplies available at discounted rates at the first class.)

  • Vaccination papers with proof of Bordatella and other routine vaccinations. (We do not need to have a copy. We only need to see the papers.)
  • Bowl for Water—Any container will work, water is available.
  • Clean up materials, such as paper towels and a deodorizing cleaner
  • 6' and 20' flat leash—The expandable lead will not work. The 20' flat leash is not used until the 3rd or 4th class.
  • Collar with ID tag—We work inside and outside for the safety and recall of your dog. An ID tag is mandatory.
  • Any training collar that you use, although choke chains will not be used in training class. Although the choke chain collars were very popular years ago, there have been many innovations of new head halters and other adjuncts that will keep you dog from pulling and under control without putting any pressure on the trachea.
  • Soft treats
  • A toy your dog likes.
